The British Royal Navy AWD Fire Retardant Trousers issued to service personal in the RN from the 1990's to Mid 2010's. Due to their hard wearing, durability and fire retardant properties they have become very popular for workwear clothing.
Flame Resistance: Woven from a specialised heavyweight cotton blend treated with a fire-retardant (FR) finish designed to protect against flash fire hazards. No-Melt Properties: Unlike synthetic tactical pants, the heavy cotton foundation ensures the fabric won't melt onto the skin when exposed to high heat. Heavyweight Build: Built as tough, all-purpose combat clothing, making them popular for high-friction jobs, metalwork, outdoor scouting, and heavy manual labour.
Grade 1, issued shows signs of wear but fully operational.
