British Military DCTA S&T SCD6 Sample DPM Body Armour Vest

This rare British Military DCTA S&T SCD6 Sample DPM Body Armour Vest would of been a prototype used to be trialed and tested within the MoD. DCTA (Defese Clothing and Textiles Agency) would of potentially manufactured this between 1995 and 2000 during their window of manufacturing. 

The outer, in woodland DPM, would be made from a tough polyester cotton blend. An outer velcro adjustable band, as well as an inner to secure the prototype vest to the user. With no size, presumably a one size fits all. 

Both panels have velcro at the top to allow the insertion of kevlar filler plates. These are not included but does come with foam, to mimic what could have been.
