East German Military Stahlhelm M56 Steel Helmet

The East German Stahlhelm M56 Steel Helmet issued to the NVA in 1956 until the reunification of Germany.

The main shell from stamped high tensile carbon-steel. Designed with a steep slope to maximise the effective thickness of the steel and also help deflect.

Unfortunately due to age this does not come with the inner leather liner.

Grade 1.5, although no liner it still is a sort after historic piece of German history and would suit any collector looking to restore or simply to display.
