Condor Selknam Fixed Blade Knife

The Condor Selknam Fixed Blade Knife honours the aboriginal inhabitants of “Tierra del Fuego” in the extreme south of Chile. They were skilled hunters, fishers bush-crafters and nomadic land collectors of great size and strength. The Selknam Knife has a full-tang blade with convex edge.

The back of the spine has a finger grip for use during controlled cuts. It has a Condor Classic finish and a “Coconut Breaker” for breaking or crushing logs for tinder. The back of the handle has a notch for use as a “Bowdrill” and a scraper for starting fire with ferrocerium rods, thanks to its 90° steel cut. It is supplied with leather sheath with an included fire striker, shapener pocket and a loop for a fire rod.
