The Silva Free Lamp Unit 3400 is the most powerful lamp head in the Free series, delivering 3400 lumens for activities that demand maximum visibility and fast reactions – such as downhill biking, ski touring and night orienteering.

It features Speed Mode and is fully compatible with all batteries and headbands in the modular Free series. Maximum light for maximised sports The lamp unit delivers strong, stable light in technical terrain and at high speed.

When entering darker and more technical sections, Speed Mode provides an instant brightness boost so you can keep your pace with confidence. It features three brightness and Airflow Technology for efficient cooling and sustained performance during long or intense sessions.

Speed Mode and Intelligent Light The lamp features 4 brightness levels, including Speed Mode that gives you a quick boost of brightness with a short press from Max mode. The lamp then increases light output when cooling from wind, speed or cold air is sufficient, and the function can run for up to 50 minutes depending on lamp, battery and cooling.

A brief flash confirms activation, and since Speed Mode shortens burn time, you should switch back when you no longer need the extra power. With Silva Intelligent Light, you get a long-reach spotlight combined with a close floodlight for better overview and balance at higher speeds.

The lamp unit is water-resistant according to the IPX5 standard and designed to perform reliably in varied weather and temperatures.
