LifeSaver Lifeline Straw

The LifeSaver Lifeline Straw is a lightweight, pocket-sized water filter for hiking, rambling, climbing and backpacking. Keep it in your pack or car glove compartment as an emergency backup, and use it like a straw to filter water from rivers, lakes, streams and ditches.

Filtration performance

• Removes 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.99% of parasites and 99.99% of microplastics.
• Reduces turbidity in glacial, cloudy or muddy water.
• Replaceable ultrafiltration cartridge filters up to 5,000 litres.
• Replaceable activated carbon filter reduces chemicals and heavy metals, including chlorine, lead, nickel and cadmium, and improves taste and odour for up to 100 litres.

Testing and safety

The Lifeline system has been tested and certified by NSF International against the following standards:

• NSF/ANSI 42 Class 1: fine sediment reduction, covering particulates of 0.5–1 micron.
• NSF/ANSI 401: emerging compounds and incidental contaminants, including 99.99% microplastic reduction.
• NSF/ANSI 372: lead-free content compliance.
• Independently tested to exceed NSF/ANSI P231 requirements for reduction of bacteria and protozoan cysts.
• FailSafe technology reduces the flow rate when the cartridge needs replacing.
• BPA-free, long-lasting outer case.
